It works!

It works!

Last Updated on February 12, 2021 by Celia

And I am T I R E D! I spent the last 48 hours deleting my entire wordpress database, installing a new wordpress and importing all site data so the theme I bought, Elation (for $21 per year), could actually display the way it is supposed to. That is the advice I received from the theme’s creator himself. I was initially terrified because I risked losing data in the transfer. I did lose pictures and videos, but have most of it back. It took some digging around and relocating media. In the end I didn’t lose much at all. And–dare I say it?–I think it works now (satisfied sigh)! Can you all see and navigate the theme/site? Please email me if you can’t.

I fixed the Kitten Chow commercial. It was previously unknown to me that neither the photo gallery nor the youtube video were working. If any of you out there know something does not work properly, once again, please email me as I am not always aware.

I had to move the Jaws 4 and Remington Steel videos to my flickr account as youtube would’ve banned the clips for copyright violations instantly. If someone wants to report me on flickr for “stealing” from NBC/Universal, be my guest. I’m keeping a sweet child’s memory and work alive. I do not profit from it; this has never been my intention. If bad goes to worse, and I have to remove the clips because lawyers say I do, I will.

Another good stroke of luck happened. I was browsing instagram late last night, and found a Jello commercial the poster says is from 1985. It is definitely Judith.

I am slowly working to pay off more debt because of the theme purchase. If anyone wants to help me out, donate whatever you can afford here. I always appreciate any help given.

More surprises soon to come.

I added a few more screen caps from Growing Pains mostly because I acquired the full episode this morning from a new friend. I captured Judith’s screen credit. You can view the updated gallery here. Thanks, Lewis, for the episode!

Still working to make the site better and easier. More updates are coming.

That’s all for now. Until next time.

I was lucky enough to quickly find on ebay February 3rd:

The full version is in the rare photo gallery. Notice the special was called “Losing A Sister”.

Still working on getting the money for the full theme upgrade. I should have it within the next 3 months without any site donations.

That’s all for now. Until next time.

I know last update I promised content on the kofi page. And I still intend to give all that content.

I am in the beginning stages of a sinus infection. I’ve slept, mostly. My schedule is completely off. I feel terrible.

There is little left to say except I’m sorry. I have no choice but to let the infection run its course. Please forgive me. Thank you all for understanding.

I will update as soon as I possibly can.

UPDATE: Sorry for the grammar mistake. I have done the responsible thing and corrected it. Yes, Daniel. This is a John Lennon lyric. 🙂

For the theme of it

For the theme of it

One of my friends said last night that the site layout –the theme–is hard to navigate. I am well aware of this. As of right now, I cannot afford to upgrade the theme to make the layout easier. It costs $21 per year. I am trying to pay off $81 in credit card debt before February 12. That is exactly why I started the ko-fi page so that perhaps someone would help out with site expenses every now and then. Upgrading the theme would help all others easily navigate this site; I just can’t afford to at the moment. I have made it the current $21 goal on the ko-fi page. If anyone wants to chip in, please feel free to do so via ko-fi or paypal. Any amount given is much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Back to work for me. Until next time.

Here I go!

Here I go!

Hello, readers and Judith fans!

Yesterday I began an update process which is on-going.  I’m working steadily on it. Lots more to do. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

(self-hosted, so youtube, google, and NBC can’t sue me for posting)

  • edited the Entertainment Tonight clip — it is now self-hosted also, just in case it ever has to come off of youtube. One never knows when linking other account clips.
  • added better image of the Sea World Ad — thanks, Tracy, for finding it!

Here’s what I am attempting to do:

  1. Start a page to support the site. It is similar to Pateron, but doesn’t have as many fees. I will update as long as I can with content.
  2. Get the theme to actually work. A few have told me the theme is broken. It is, unfortunately. I don’t have the money to fix it yet. Getting the money as best I can–very slowly. Here’s a screenshot of what it is supposed to look like:

Sit tight, because the work around here is just beginning. More to come!

For all it’s worth, I am exhausted!

I did meet the $64 goal on January 7, last Wednesday with an $11 surplus I never expected. I’ve already put it toward bettering this site. A final donor gave $4.00; this post is for her.

I’ve changed the theme; surprisingly complex story there. Hopefully it is much easier to load and read. I’ve also replaced the youtube video of TLBT’s theatrical trailer because I recently discovered the previous user whose video I was linking no longer has the account it was posted on. Ay, the consequences of using other people’s videos! The Land Before Time page is here.

If anyone finds any links or images that do not work, please email me. I am not always aware if content isn’t working.

Thank you to all who donated. You three really saved me this month!

That’s all for now. Until next time.

Another generous donation, this time from a fan, came in yesterday. This person was as good as their word as they promised their donation a full week ago.  Only $4 more go now. The bill is nearly wiped from its slate. I never thought 2 people could be so giving; I never thought I’d get so close to $64 because no one had been donating lately. I suppose when the goal is clear and deadlines are pressing, the “magic” happens. I am eternally grateful for the support. Only $4 shy! I’m starting to believe again with a little under 5 days to go. Here’s hoping for a little longer. Thank you all who continue with me on this evolutionary journey!

Please consider giving $1 or more. Thanks and love!

That’s all for now. Until next time.

A donation lifts my spirits

A donation lifts my spirits

Lo and behold, this morning I was shocked by a donation from a long time friend who isn’t even a Judith fan. With about 11 days left, I now need $30.25. It is doable! I feel 100% better about this now. Thank you, Phil! I love you! 😀

Please donate $1 or more here:

Pay The Judith Fund using Paypal.Me

I updated the theme (again) and took away the flickr photo stream plugin. It was taking too long to load. Now the site should load much faster.

That’s all for now. Updates soon to follow. Love to all who browse and read! 😛

I have changed the background image to make things easier to read. I have also tweaked the charitable donations settings–now appearing as the first sidebar widget to the right (the left side on the blog page).

The donations should work now as I have tested them out. 12 days left. Yikes. 😥 I need a miracle. Help. Please.
