It has taken 5 days, but it’s finally done. What, you ask?

Another hosting change. For $172.33, I’ve ensured this site will be hosted for the next 4 years!
New flickr galleries. Just look around on the movie, tv show and commercial galleries located in the main menu.

I am exhausted from finalizing all the work, financing, and all other details, but it’s safe to say I won’t have to worry about this site for another 48 months, and that makes me tremendously elated! *sighs* 😀

Thank you, Hostinger, for your holiday deal and all the technical support. Moving this site took twice as long as I expected for the oddest reasons.

Permanent hosting?

I went ahead and bought “lifetime hosting” from a webhost called rootpal.com. The site has been moved over already and appears to be working normally. Lifetime hosting, at least in theory, means for many years. I don’t want to have to shell out $100 or more per year to keep this site online. I live on a fixed, disability income and am sick of pleading with my boyfriend to allow me to spend money to keep this whole thing alive. So, PLEASE, PLEASE, let this be my host for at least 10 more years. I had to pay $100 plus an additional $20 for them to migrate the site over, so I have been working to exhaustion trying to get it paid off before the 12th of this month when my credit card bill is due. I’m nearly there. I need approximately $10 more. I’m wiped out. This has been no fun, but at least I won’t have to worry about hosting for the foreseeable future. (sigh)
